Description

Inhabit is an archive of interrelated projects concerning diasporas, histories and place. Yamamoto was born and raised in Honolulu, but has lived and worked in Western Massachusetts for the last several years. The trajectory of projects engages the historical rapports and tensions between Hawai’i and New England, beginning in the 19th century, as well as the thread of (Japanese) diaspora that weaves through it.
