Abstract
In this paper, I investigate how Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts compares with other liberal arts colleges in the areas of environmental and sustainability in the curriculum. I compare the course offerings in the Social and Natural Science at Smith College, Mt. Holyoke College, Middlebury College and Wellesley College. I make suggestions on how Smith can make this hope for a sustainable future a reality.
